Wake up.. wake up!
Whoahh!!! It has been so long since my last update.. I miss blogging a lot... but I miss my bed twice as much more..hehe.. yeah... things was getting unorganised nowadays... or does that mean I'm l@2y? Hmmm.. maybe a bit.. but "tired" is more like it... with work... house chores, and now 2 "demanding for my attention"princess and of course not forgetting my DH too.
Time flies so fast.. in fact I wasted most of it away from my sewing machine.. I do feel guilty for that.. But nothing compares to my precious 2 princess.. they are more important to me besides sewing...
Well... I must get myself going now.. Soon will be Ramadhan...sew many things to do .. sew little time..
For a start, I finally dig out my sewing machine from the cabinet.. it has been there since March. hehe... And TADA... my first homework...

Its a readymade apron... a friend of mine asked me to embroider on it.. as a gift for her babysitter Jennifer.. who takes good care of Eva, her 1yr old daughter.. Hope the nanny likes it..

The Doctor Bag
I love this bag...I just love it.. I fell in love with it the moment I saw the sample at Epal.
This is an extra project I made and learned from Epal Centre. If you are an Epal VIP Member, you should receive a newsletter from Epal for December 2009, about this bag.. and they are selling various types of bag handles including the inner iron support handle (for the opening of the bag)
( the ends of the zippers are neatly wrapped and hand-sewn in a button shape plastic holder)
sorry I didnt manage to take the picture of the inner stuff.
I never knew there are so many things used to make a bag that I never seen before..
This bag is not for sale or order for this moment... maybe next year...! I would turn it into a diaper bag... or mommies bag...
FYI, I'm the first who made this Doctor Bag here in Epal KK Centre... wow... not sure why no body wants to buy the Kit.. In my opinion, although it is quite pricey.. but the the technique is very unique.. and you can learn a lot from it... Even my hubby can't believe I've made this bag!!! He finally HOLD it.. OPEN it... PEEK inside it... OBSERVE my workmanship ...and was quite impressed with my work.. "THIS IS GOOD WORK" he said. I never heard him complimenting my work all this while.. hehe.. He made my day today~

Back to work, I'm starting my engine.. no turning back.. THE SEW MUST GO ON...
This hello kitty design is so beautiful, I never thought the design and stitches are so "perfect". I bought this design on the web (oh no, I cant recall which site..) specially requested by a mother of two beautiful girls, Naz. Deeply apologize for the looong delay.. Thank you for your great patience. Hopefully you like it.... Another piece is on the way.. hopefully I can show it to you tomorrow.

Hexy game
I can't believe myself that I joined a group of creative ladies who love sewing as well.. together hand-in-hand building up a Grandmother Daisy Flower queensize Quilt for ourselves.

Isn't that sweet??? Picture above is courtessy of Kak Diah.. A sample of how the hexy game would turn out to be..
How does it work?
1) We gather around a bunch of 10 person (all virtually scattered around all over Malaysia)
2) Draw will be held every 2 weeks, on who's turn will get the whole set of 100 daisy quilt flower from all members.
3) Each person will have to make 10 daisy quilt flowers following the prefered theme color the winner of the draw for that 2-week period. Everyone must finish the 10 flowers on time within 2 weeks, and send it to the lucky person by post.
4) Every member will get her turn to receive the set....
5) I just cant wait for my turn...no need to worry.. even the last person will get her turn by end of december.. not that long rite? Imagine if you make this queensize quilt all by yourself..HANDSEW! I wonder if I can finish em in 5months.. without this kick-startup...
Top pic is the back view. Not that hard to make, just print out the required size of template, standardise with all members... See Balkish blog for the details of this game.. Click HERE
Hopefully I done it right... Please comment ya members...
BTW, the lucky person to get the first draw is Faridah Salim. Her prefered color is BLUE.. Wait till I get all my fabric done..

Weekend Stacks
Made some "urgent I want now" diaper stacker.... ahhaha... Thats wat I call it... instant & unplanned orders.. Hmm.. I know.. I know.. this is cutting queue... but *sigh* its very hard to say no... cos I consider every request is important ... I guess, its best to fix a due date.. but sometime when fixing a date can be frustrating.. when I can't deliver it on time.. I really hope to those who has given me the "take your time" orders... I deeply apologise for the delay.... I'm doing the best I could to make the very... very... very best with my own two hands.. (hmm.. sounds familliar.. who's blog name was that??)
I wish my legs can sew as well.. so that I can work twice faster... hahhaha..
These 3 colors diaper stacker - Blue, Green & Red... for my very loyal blog friend - Mas all the way from Keningau.. She was on her way to her in-laws (hubby's side)...in Sipitang. She called me at 9pm saturday... and realised she wanted to order my diaper stacker earlier... but forgot.. So.. my urgent assignment is to get it done by a.m. next day...
*phew* that was fast... I broke my own record! 3 stacker in one night...Want to order??... whoahhh.... not commerciallised yet ya...! I have to go one at a time..
Please bear with me... Luv ya!!

What have I done lately?
Hi there? Long time no update.. I was quite busy lately at work.. tied up with our company Family Day last Saturday Dec 13. Too many errands to be done, but I can still contribute this big red ribbon for the Family day deco. I made a pair of this red ribbon for the main door entrance. Ready to sail
Row.. row.. row your boat..
Gently down the streaaaamm...
Merrily..Merrily..Merrily..
Maya's is ready to dreammmm...
I finally finished my sailboat wallhanging project by Epal for the month of October. Err.. yes... wall hanging.. not a baby quilt.. But my lil Maya can't stop playing with it.. until she pulled it on to her when going to sleep.. Ok.. thats a hint.. I must make her a baby quilt..If you noticed.. the wall hanging has "feng shui" or luck... can you see the lucky number 88? And it has sailboat, water.. and a lot more if you know how to look at it... More to Chinese believe that brings luck.. I hope I'll get good luck out of my sewing...
My next project in class in Patchwork clock, and its 80% done ..

More of MyLock744D creations
Here are some of the creative creations by using the serging MyLock744D machine.. Err.. sorry.. this is not my creations ya! Items are solely owned by Epal Craft Center KK.. for demo only..
Actually it is a combination of Janome My Craft 6500 and MyLock744D.. But some of the features are also available with the Janome Harmony All-in-One 2049 model... its all in your creative hands... Beautiful isn't it?
Now this patchwork design is great... with additional roses bouquet made by Janome MyLock744D . The roses really stands-out on top of the patcwork.. great design.. I must try one!

Hah.. this is the simplest patchwork from scrap fabric.. Simply cut your sraps... sew it together with MyLock744D... and once you open up the 2 fabric ... tada... patchwork done.. You don't even have to use your sewing machine to stitch up the fabrics... the serging machine can do all the work. Same goes to the frills... with just additional presser foot.. can simplify your work.
A nice applique technique... also by using Mylock744D
The last but not least.. I dunno what its called... I guess its for home deco.. or a fruit basket..
